CHURCH KIDS

These are the children that Gene and I gave the presentation to about the Soup Kitchen and what we are all about. After they helped out at the last Soup Kitchen, they made paper flowers and sold them for $1.00 each. Yesterday, at church, they had a program about what they learned about the poor and homless people and what the Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet does for them. They then presented Gene and I a $304.00 check from the sales of the flowers for the Soup Kitchen treasury. They were so sweet and excited about the money they raised that I just wanted to cry from gratitude!
